Description

First-time director Elizabeth Allen makes quite a splash with this bubbly enchantment about two Florida teens (Emma Roberts, Joanna "JoJo" Levesque) who befriend a mermaid (Sara Paxton), who will grant them a wish if they help her woo a lifeguard. Roberts is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and the niece of Julia. Emma also sings the song "Island in the Sun" on the film's soundtrack.
